Kentish Endurance
Riders - comms coverage - March 13 2010 A big day
with 77 competitors on the 80km ride and
approx 45 on the beginners 40km ride made it an interesting day
for the CCARC members that provided
the comepetitor tracking for the days ride. Radio coverage was
good with base able to contact all checkpoints using a
simplex 2m frequency. While we encountered some fog on the road near
Sheffield at the 6am start meeting time, it improved to
a warm day with some cloud cover. All the team are looking forward
to the next event
